Natural Stone Wall in Southborough, MA

Posted in Landscape Lights, Masonry, Pavers, Uncategorized, Winter Landscape at 6:41 AM by Administrator

We are building a natural stone wall on top of our concrete footings.  The concrete footings will be buried and backfilled against them.

In addition to the drainage system that we installed at the base of the footings, we also installed weep holes between the top of the footings and the base layer of the natural stone wall.

The September/October 2013 issue of Northshore Magazine includes an article on how to “Add Pizzaz to Your Outdoor Living Space with Fire Features”.  Tony Hurley, owner and founder of Artistic Landscapes, was interviewed and quoted in this article.  Tony reminds people that seating around the fire feature is essential so that you can see the fire up close as well as from the house or a distant seating area.  He also discussed the importance of choosing the right style and look given your own goals and the surrounding area.
