Permeable Paver Parking Spaces – Rowley

Posted in Masonry, Pavers, Uncategorized, Winter Landscape at 6:13 AM by Administrator

We have installed numerous paver patios and walkways along with paver driveways.  Often times we are asked if pavers can be driven on and/or whether pavers can be used as a driveway.  Pavers do make a great surface for a driveway.  Especially beneficial during the winter is that the layout of a paver driveway  or parking spaces will shorten the amount of time that the pavement is icy.  Between each paver is some space that allows the water from melting snow to drain below quickly, thus it does not become ice later in the day.

These 3 parking spots are supported by a decorative Unilock segmental landscape wall that helps us anchor the permeable pavers and creates a visual break between the landscape and the parking area.  As you can see from these 3 parking spots, we have a wide variety of pavers to choose from and we can incorporate decorative pavers into your driveway or extra parking spot or stay with one style paver for a large portion of the area.

Landscape Lighting in Lynnfield – with lights on the house

Posted in Landscape Lights, Masonry, Uncategorized, Winter Landscape at 7:22 AM by Administrator

This Lynnfield family has some beautiful stonework on both sides of their front door thus we highlighted the stonework with specific uplighting.  By uplighting the area by the front door, we are able to help visitors navigate to the formal front entrance.

For information about how Artistic Landscapes can help design and install a landscape lighting system for you.  Our design process starts with us listening to what you would like to highlight on your property followed by some suggestions by us.  These conversations are followed-up by us setting up some lights as a demonstration for you to see the true impact and how we will be able to accomplish your landscape lighting goals as a result of our lighting system.  We install low voltage landscape lighting systems in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire areas, please contact us at 978.948.2900 or visit our website at www.Artistic-Landscapes.com for additional details.

Landscape Lighting in Middleton, MA with lights on the house

Posted in Landscape Lights, Uncategorized, Winter Landscape at 7:10 AM by Administrator

We designed and installed a landscape lighting system that provides a wow factor for this Middleton, MA family.  This system was installed in phases so that we could ensure that the lighting remained subtle, but created a wow factor.

We installed tiny directional lights at the bottom of each of the columns lining the front steps to uplight the columns as this allowed us to achieve our clients goal of enhancing the welcoming area by the front door.  In addition to these lights on the columns, we installed some directional lights on the house (above the garage doors) so that we can highlight the nice stonework that was done over the garage doors.
