Firepits
A natural stone firepit (as does a segmental firepit) provide many evenings of fun with your children and friends. We build firepits that burn wood or gas and can be circular, square or into a shape that meets your vision.
Artistic Landscapes of Rowley, MA builds natural stone firepits as well as segmental block firepits throughout the North Shore region of Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. We build our firepits with Heat Resistant mortar to reduce the mortar from cracking. The interior space, the area where you burn the wood, is typically 24” or 30” in diameter. We recommend a steel ring around the inside of the firepit to protect the stones from cracking under the heat of your fire. We also provide you a firepit cover. The cover makes the firepit look clean when not in use and it limits the ability of children or animals accessing the firepit interior.
Most firepits are built to burn wood but we also build gas firepits. Gas firepits are easy to turn on/off whenever you want to have a fire. We work closely with the electrician and gas fitter/plumber during the construction of your firepit. Your options are plentiful with a gas firepit such as using a remote control to turn the fire on/off and selecting the color stones/glass on top of the firepit.
